Our shadow boxes are made of the finest hardwoods, oak, walnut, cherry, and mahogany with a lacquer coating applied to preserve the wood. You may also want to consider the color of the wood and furnishing in your home so that your shadow box compliments its new surroundings. All of our shadow boxes have ¼” glass fronts. Plexi-glass lowers the quality of a shadow box due to it is not scratch resistant and plexi–glass turns yellow over a period of time.
